About Us - Evgeniya Samartseva
Evgeniya Samartseva holds a Masters (MA) in Economics from the University of Toronto, which she received at the age of 22. In addition, she graduated on the Dean's list with an Honours Bachelor of Arts (Hon BA) in Economics from York University. While pursuing her Masters degree, she served as a Vice President of the Graduate Economics Union of the University of Toronto.
Prior to joining Stewart & Kett, Evgeniya worked for a boutique Toronto accounting firm that specialized in small businesses and sole proprietorships.
As an example of Evgeniya’s analytical ability and natural curiosity, she became involved in the development of a mathematical model which examines the relationship between economic variables such as immigration, unemployment rates, GDP growth and interest rates.
Evgeniya speaks four languages (English, Russian, Ukrainian and Kirgish) and for recreation she likes to golf, ski and paint.
In her free time Evgeniya loves to golf and paint.
Two of her paintings, "Landscape of Alaska Mountains" and "Canals of Venezsia", are prominently displayed in our office. In addition, she is currently working on another painting, "Spring in the prairies", which she expects to complete sometime in the fall.
